Being an Entrepreneur Can Be Lonely

Working from home as an entrepreneur, or a Pinkpreneur, can be a lonely occupation.  Over the past couple of months I've been home more and out networking less because I've been healing from surgery.  I didn't notice that I was starting to doubt myself more and more until my fabulous business coach pointed it out to me.

Normally, I'm out and about meeting new people, attending new events and loving the interactions I have..  But, as I haven't been able to get out much, I didn't realize how much it was affecting me.

Last night, we had another incredible Pinkpreneurs meeting.  The energy in the room was happy and friendly.  We had many new faces and familiar faces returning.  My energy is replenished and today I feel happier than I have in a long time.

Also, connecting with my support team over the past couple of days helped me too.  Yes, I have several coaches myself.  After having these amazing women and Pinkpreneurs support me and my efforts in my business, I feel refreshed and excited to move forward.

So, yes, being an entrepreneur can be lonely and sometimes you may want to quit and go find a job.  I have better advice for you.  Hire a coach.  Talk to another Pinkpreneur.  Get out and meet new people.

While you may be in business by yourself, you are never alone.

A coach will remind you what you need to be doing and focusing on to move your business forward.  They are also on your side and understand what you're going through in your business.

Last week I had a client who was in crisis.  After our call she said she loves having a coach who is in full support of her and her business.  Such a simple thought and so powerful.  This is what coaching is about for me.  Being fully present to my clients and getting them through their hurdles and challenges.

Just as my coaches are able to see my strengths and shower me with support, I too pass this on to my clients.

So, even though I'm here by myself in my office on this beautiful sunny day, I'm not alone in my business.  I can always reach out for help and support when I need it.

I'm not lonely or alone.  Neither are you!  Reach out.
